Well, it happened again. I set a 6 p.m. appointment with a vendor, and they didn't show. I called their cell twice to see what was up, and got no answer. The second time I called, I let them know I'd be sticking around until 6:20, but I really needed to get going after that, as I was expecting our meeting to take no longer than a half hour as it was. I didn't have time to hang out last night and wait to see if a boo-boo had been made with regards to their scheduling.
Which it had. As I drove home, my phone rang (at 6:25, mind you), and it was the vendor calling to say, "I'm sorry, I thought we were set to meet at 6:30!" You know, if it wasn't in email form this time, I might've wondered if it was me. As it was, I wondered all the way home, where I was able to pull up the email that said, "Let's meet at Redemptorist on May 1st at 6 p.m." Vindication! It's not me. These vendors need better note-taking abilities, or something.
So we reset the appointment for Thursday at 6 p.m. instead, and I really hope this chick shows. Because I don't have any other leads on her position in the wedding at this point. And I don't really have the energy to try to look, either.
*sigh* Working out makes me tired!
